Monitoring actual performance to goals across key performance indicators such as visitation and revenue helps monitor how well your attraction is tracking to budget, how earned revenue teams are faring and how third party revenue share operators are performing. This might include multiple layers of goals to represent base plans versus more ambitious targets.

To add goals over time to your dashboard

1. Select Goals Over Time from the visualization library

2. When editing the visualization in the Toolbox Studio, select the desired Goal from the drop down menu (make sure your calendar range reflects the period of performance for the goal you want to see)

3. Use the time series to control the granularity you wish to see the data, such as on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis

In Dexibit, you can track goals related to both visitation and revenue (including for ticketing, store and cafe based revenue)

How to set up Goals

  1. Select Data > Goals

  2. Under KPI Targets, click add.

  3. Fill out the form provided.

Goal tracking works best with daily goals.

If you prefer to work with periodic goals (on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis), enter your goals for a single day on the last day of the period of performance, then adjust the visualization time series to suit. Make sure your calendar date range covers the period of performance.
