Membership Over Time

Looking at membership trends at different points in time empowers you to break down membership data by membership types

Optimizing membership is a major consideration for strategic planning.

From a marketing perspective, there’s a higher acquisition cost in just encouraging members of the public to visit every so often - versus the same marketing investment being spread over a member relationship that may last years and include multiple visits and subsequent purchases on top of the member subscription itself

Whether you’re analyzing marketing and advertising success, looking at membership trends at different points in time empowers you to break down membership data by membership type.

To add membership over time to your dashboard:

1. Select Membership Over Time from the visualization library

2. Select the membership Attribute:

  • Total Membership (over all members in your programme for the selected time period)

  • New Membership (number of new people who have signed up to your membership programme over the selected time period)

  • Renewed Membership (number of current members who have renewed their membership over the selected time period)

  • Churned Membership (number of people who have left your membership programme)

  • Net Membership

3. Select membership type from your membership programme

4. Adjusted data can be seen on a Time series at the following granularities: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly.
